In less than 900 km you can learn how diverse the Balkans history is. A travel along Dalmatian islands, Kotor bay, Montenegro, north of Albania and Herzegovina will show you how the history changed because of different influences, either from the west or from the east, every ruler who passed here along in the history left something of its own; habits, costumes, music, dances, words (in Dalmatia you hear words of venetian and turkish origin, so in Montenegro and Herzegovina). The Dalmati were Illyrian tribe who gave the name of today’s croatian region and the famous dog breeds, Dalmatian dog. Three main religions of the Balkans are to be seen all along this tour. Enjoy the west/east heritage.
